Wengen and Kleine Scheidegg

Having visited the area twice on summer holidays, we were keen to see the Bernese Oberland in winter, and we stopped off at Wengen where the cloud was low and the snow falling - this did not augur well for the climb to Kleine Scheidegg, but we were very lucky when the skies cleared and the sun came out, so that we could enjoy the views of The Eiger and the snow-covered slopes
